Thankfulness

I guess this is a bit late for Thanksgiving, but it should probably happen more than just once a year. Today I was thinking a little bit about the things that I have had to deal with in my own life. Even though we are often very connected to the world through online communications, cell phones, and day to day interactions it is easy to still feel very alone in it all. Yet when we get to a point, as can sometimes happen, where we have to deal with something we just need someone else for. A person to care about too, be our sounding board, and walk through it with us. At that time we often realize that we do have friends and family to count on. Today I am thankful and blessed that I have so many good friends that are there for me and love me so well. Also for a family that I can count on for love and support. Even when jobs, situations, health, economic conditions get in the way, I am truely thankful for all God has blessed me with.
